Analyst's observations

The sample essentially had the appearance of finely chopped leaf and stem material. Significant quantities of the leaf material had the microscopic characteristics of tobacco leaf and chemical analysis showed the presence of significant levels of nicotine. Based on a natural nicotine content of dried tobacco ranging from 2 to 8 percent, the results indicate the sample contains approximately between 17 and 67 percent tobacco.
